Incredible that Kodak Support would not tell you how to resolve a Spooler issue.
From the Desktop WinKey + X (to get to Control Panel, Run, and others as needed)
and WinKey + W (to search Apps, Settings, and Files) ; WinKey + D calls the desktop
and then using WinKey toggles Desktop and Start Screen.
Translate these as needed to Windows 8 methods (there is little real difference) :
Check with the printer maker for updated drivers and their Support and Forums for known issues.

Do these as sort of prerequisites :
Clean up general corruption and repair/replace any damaged/missing files.
Run DiskCleanup - WINKEY + X - Command Prompt (Admin) - type in cleanmgr.exe
(check the Taskbar as it will be there if not given focus on your screen).

References to Vista also apply to Windows 7 and 8 Go to Printer maker's Site and get the latest drivers - Download - SAVE - do not install yet.
When ready to install - Right Click on the driver - Run As Admin.
Also check with your Printer Maker's Support and any Forums.
