Windows 8 Connection Problem , Facebook, google and other sites don't load!


The issue is that the Internet Explorer doesn’t load few. We need more information to assist you.

1.      Did you check if the issue is only with Internet Explorer or you have the same issue with other browsers too?

2.      Are you using Desktop Internet Explorer or Modern UI Internet Explorer?

3.      Have you set any proxy to connect to internet?

4.      How are you connected to Internet? Is it wired connection or Wireless?

Here is something we can try to get the issue fixed with Internet Explorer where you are unable to open few websites.

Method 1: Run inbuilt troubleshooters.

Step 1: Run Internet connection troubleshooter
a.       Press Windows + W key on the keyboard.
b.      Type troubleshooting in the search tab and press Enter.
c.       Click View all on left panel.
d.      Click Internet Connection, new window will popup.
e.       Follow the on screen instructions.

Step 2: Run Internet Explorer Performance troubleshooter
a.       Press Windows + W key on the keyboard.
b.      Type troubleshooting in the search tab and press Enter.
c.       Click View all on left panel.
d.      Click Internet Explorer Performance, new window will popup.
e.       Follow the on screen instructions.

Method 2: You may try disabling Add-ons.

a.       Open Internet Explorer for the desktop.
b.      Tap or click the Tools button, and then tap or click Manage add-ons.
c.       Under Show, tap or click All add-ons, and then do one of the following:
                                 i.            To disable an add-on, tap or click it, and then tap or click Disable.
                               ii.            To enable an add-on, tap or click it, and then tap or click Enable.
d.      Tap or click Close.


Method 3: If you are using proxy connection, please disable proxy.
Follow the steps to disable proxy:

a.       Click the Gearbox at the top right corner in internet explorer.
b.      Click the Tools button, and then click Internet Options.
c.       Click the Connections tab, and then click LAN settings.
d.      Uncheck the box next to “proxy server for your LAN”.
e.       Click OK to save and close the window.
